Nonna to Nana + The Australian Women's Weekly

The Australian Women's Weekly - May 2015 Edition

Today we are thrilled that Nonna to Nana is featured in the May edition of the Australian Woman’s Weekly! It is a brilliant feature that includes four of our beautiful grandmothers, their stories and even a few recipes to try (on the iPad version). A big thank you to the editors for supporting our (self-published) sister team and acknowledging the love and food these women have shared with us and their families.

Nanna Jill
Nanna Jill
Jill is a young grandmother and it is not surprising that her house is a bustling hub. As her grandchildren laugh and play in the sun-drenched living area, her son and daughter give updates on their latest art projects.
Naanii Ritu
Naanii Ritu
When we meet Naanii Ritu, she is nearing the end of a six-month stay in Australia. Living in Deniliquin, a small country town in New South Wales, it is a stark contrast to the bustling life she has in her homeland, India.
Tatair Najah
Tatair Najah
Tatair Najah has the warm-hearted generosity of our own grandmother and, treating us much like surrogate grandchildren, sends us off with at least one Tupperware container of food each time we meet.
